Sustainable
The vast majority of the items we are selling inside the reception shop, are made of sustainable materials or recycled products. The clothing has been made from a good quality, sustainable cotton and we have various unique items for sale made of plastic waste from the ocean and other restproducts.
'Juttersgeluk' believes in the power of connection: together we can fight against the environmental issue called Plastic Soup. The employees go to the beach to gather waste on a daily basis, prevent it from being dragged to the sea (again). Then, they create new products in the most innovating way. This is done with coworkers who are unable to participate in the regular job market. Juttersgeluk also organizes beachcombing activities and recycle projects on commission. In this way they increase awareness about sustainability and the environment within large groups of people. They create valuable work in which people feel good and where they participate within a circulair economy.
Pop-up Store
Are you an entrepeneur and have you always wanted your own store on a unique location? Camping de Lakens offers the possibility with our pop-up store. Here you get the chance to display and sell your products on temporary basis and in a unique way. The pop-up store is a beautiful light building from about 30m2 and has a nice terrace outside. Are you interested to use the pop-up store for a weekend, week or longer during the camping season? Please contact us for more information and the possibilities.
Heated sanitary buildings
Throughout the entire campsite heated toilet/sanitary buildings with showers are located. Some of them have special areas or rooms for families with a baby or for disabled guests. There also are some points suited for emptying the chemical toilets of campers and mobile homes.

Laundromat
Spilled some BBQ sauce on your shirt? No problem! There's a laundromat at the campsite. It's located in the same building as the SPAR, at the entrance right. To use the washing machine, get a coin at the cash register of the supermarket.
