Find out everything at our reception! Your own Beach Cleanup
At first glance, the beach seems clean, but unfortunately there is waste, always and everywhere... On average 282 pieces per 100 meters. The Plastic Soup is a big problem. Do you want to help clean the beach!
Participate in the Plastic Soup Walk, your own beach cleanup! You may borrow a Beach Cleanup Set from the reception. Here you'll receive a fun waste-bingo-card with all kinds of facts about the Plastic Soup. Collect as much plastic as possible that does not belong on the beach. The routes are displayed on the back of the bingo card.
When you come back, you can hand in all the gathered plastics separately! Look on the bingo card what can be kept for 'Juttersgeluk'. Stichting Juttersgeluk makes new products from this. You can buy these recycled products in the reception shop! You will receive a 10% discount on the products as a thank you for your help.
Four Plastic Soup walking routes Cleanup Set & Waste Bingo Card
You will receive a beach bucket from Juttersgeluk, a poking stick and gloves to borrow. With this you can go beachcombing, you'll also receive a fun waste-bingo-card, which shows the waste that is most often found on the beach and some associated facts. You can tick the boxes which waste you found along the way and which waste may be kept for Juttersgeluk.
On the back of the bingo card there are four routes displayed: two start at Roompot Zandvoort and the other routes start at Roompot Bloemendaal and camping De Lakens. A number of places are indicated (Plastic-waste-free Terraces) where you can have a drink, get a (vegan) ice cream or eat something! Depending on how fast you walk and how much waste there is (and how long you pause), the routes take 1 to 2 hours.

Recycling
To recycle properly, sort the collected waste upon return. You can put the found caps in the floating bottle in front of the reception. Plastic with recycling code 2 and 5 and rope in the designated sorting crates. Juttersgeluk makes new products from these materials.
As a thank you for your good work, you will receive a discount voucher at the reception for one of the circular products from Juttersgeluk that are for sale in the reception shop!
